GAY TOURISM; ISRAEL VERSUS INDONESIA

The gay (LGBT) tourism market is said to be worth around $200 billion.

For gay men and women, the average household income is $81,500 per year, almost 80% above the average U.S. household income of $46,326.

The top destinations for 'flamboyant' gay tourists include New York, San Francisco, London and Sydney.

It has to be said that one can understand decent citizens disliking robust gay nightlife scenes and rowdy gay bar districts.

Such entertainments are often linked to various mafias and illegal activities.

Most LGBT people are married to members of the opposite sex. For example, Sir Lennox Berkeley was married to Freda Berkeley. Sir Lennox Berkeley was at one time the lover of Benjamin Britten. Lady Berkeley.

We should not forget that the 'flamboyant' gay tourist who goes to San Francisco or Sydney is not the typical gay tourist.

Think of the couple of discreet lesbian students who enjoy a quiet holiday exploring Venice,  or the discreet elderly couple who enjoy a quiet holiday walking in the Alps.

The vast majority of LGBT people do not identify themselves as being LGBT.
