During WWII the U.S. Military owned this land that had a SUBMARINE base underneath and an underground Fort.

Water Island was not purchased by the U.S. until June 19, 1944, when it was purchased for $10,000 to protect the submarine base on Saint Thomas during World War II.

Fort Segarra, built on Water Island, included Barracks, Watch Towers and Bunkers. It was to be an UNDERGROUND FORT, and its purpose was to protect the submarine base on Saint Thomas.

This place needs to be investigated. The land was purchased from Joe Biden's brother in 3 plots by an associate of Joe Biden but has never been developed.

Joe Biden has visited the island over the years.
