There's one Roman document that refers to Christos (Yeshua/Jesus). Josephus in his works the Antiquities of the Jews which some modern historians agree was a later insertion. There are no documents that date from Jesus' actual ministry. His ministry lasted 3 years. In that time communications were poorer than today, and much of what Jesus did and said (with some exceptions) were orally transmitted. Post Sejanus' betrayal of Tiberius written records were banned. Early Christians expected Jesus to come back - he did not. Tiberius had 300 Messiah's crucified in the same year of Yeshua ben Yoseph. A recent documentary on crucified male found in Fenstanton UK dating to the Roman period- said 500 crucifictions occurred daily under Tiberius.
