John Allen's finance manager, Des Frost, said he reported John Allen to police in 1980 after six boys complained of being molested by the North Wales care home entrepreneur.
Two detectives visited Des Frost to hear the allegations, but Mr Frost says the claim was dismissed, allowing sexual predator Allen to continue to prey on vulnerable boys at will until the early ‘90s.

Des Frost, the Deputy Manager at Bryn Alyn Care Home, spoke to a journalist at HTV News (which is now ITV Wales News) about the allegations.
But the Waterhouse Inquiry which was investigating child abuse claims in North Wales at the time threatened the broadcaster with an injunction if the interview was used, saying it would be in contempt.
