"On 24th October 2015 it will be six years since my 10 year old son Connor Tann was murdered and the subsequent cover-up by the Redcar and Cleveland police.
"I have the evidence my son was murdered, I know who is responsible and I know exactly why Connor was murdered and I can prove the police were totally negligent in the investigation because they never investigated my sons death in the first place, they simply put it down to a case of 'accidental hanging'!

"About an hour later Daniel ran back to Vera's house, screaming that something bad had happened to Connor and Vera needed to come to the woods with him...
"Vera followed Daniel for about a mile to the rope swing in the woods where she knew the two boys had played before.
"As she reached a clearing, she saw Daniel's father Alan leaning over something on the ground...
"Daniel had called to get his father before he ran into Vera's house."

"I went in the ambulance with Connor to the hospital, I saw Connor's injuries on several occasions at the funeral home before I buried him and I know without doubt Connor's injuries were caused by being strangled from behind, not by hanging!"

Connor lived near Guisborough, which is not far from Whitby, where Jimmy Savile was involved in child abuse.
Savile had a home in Scarborough.

In 1987, many children living in Cleveland (Connor's area) were removed from their homes by social service agencies.
They were diagnosed as having been sexually abused.[2]
There was then a cover-up.

"The police only have the word of Allan Vincent Briggs and his 9 year old son that CONNOR was on the rope in the first place...
"I am not allowed to see the photos of CONNOR'S injuries (There is a big difference between injuries caused by hanging and those caused by strangulation).
"Both the coroner and the police deny that Daniel Briggs who was with CONNOR at the time made a statement, and I say of course he made a statement.
"His dad Allan Vincent Briggs read out his son's statement in the coroners court."
