GREEN PARTY ‘ON TRACK FOR 4 SEATS’

Peter Walker, The Guardian
@peterwalker99

Blimey again! Green win Waveney Valley!

That's three definite seats and possibly four, if they hold Brighton Pavilion.

It'll most likely put them equal to Reform UK.

All this election proves is that the UK voting system is completely unfit for purpose. Reform UK get over half a million more votes than the Libdems, but Libdems get 18 times as many seats. Ed Davey is toast if he suddenly starts saying 'FPTP is good'. Two generations his party has campaigned for Proportional Voting, now by a fluke he gets lucky, he is either a man of principle or a greasy slimey thing that you can't polish....
