The Mail titles “license” Peter Hitchens to deviate a little from the “agreed editorial lines” that the rest of his colleagues at Daily Mail and General Trust (DMGT) peddle.
Well, on many topics, at least — Israel and Zionism aside!
For example, in most situations and on most topics — Israel and Zionism excepted! — Hitchens opposes warmongering … questions False Flags … disbelieves Establishment lies … distrusts Governments and their motives … and habitually distrusts politicians, quangos, NGOs, media mouthpieces, and anyone else who hawks identitarianism, totalitarianism, globalism, materialism, soul crushing technologies, fake science, nihilism, and bloodlust.
One had wondered WHY the Mail titles “licensed” Hitchens to sing from a different hymn sheet on most subjects. It seemed curious?
Well, thanks to this blog, now we know!
The answer is that Hitchens is a member of the tribe.
He’s kosher where it matters!
On the most important issue of all — radical Zionism and its agenda for a greater Israel — Hitchens is a loyal foot soldier.
Thus, Hitchens’ “eccentric” writings on all the other topics can be tolerated. (More than that — encouraged. For his employer knows that Hitchens is widely portrayed as an “eccentric” at best, a curmudgeonly crank with an illiberal chip on his shoulder at worst. Thus, Hitchens’ dissenting opinions have very little impact on the readership. On the other hand, his articles bring in readers & revenue, and allow the Mail “brand” to portray itself as something other than wholly materialistic and fascistic).
What a disappointment it is to realise that Hitchens is — for all his good points — at bottom an ethnic chauvinist unwilling to criticise genocidal monsters who happen to possess the same ethnic credentials as himself.
