Some Ukrainians say exactly the same things about Russians. It seems to be a visceral reaction to people dying in wars and conflicts, at least for some.
The truth is that many, many people of all faiths, ethnicities and nationalities judge people by the content of their characters, not the colour of their skin, the religious group they adhere to, nor the country they come from.
