In Brazil, Bolsonaro's supporters seized the parliament and the Supreme Court buildings.

A short summary of the situation in Brazil

- After Bolsonaro fled to the USA and attempts to prevent the outcome of the elections to be enforced, today's action has been planned since the start of the year. It is a colour revolution in attempt.

-What enabled this is the fact that Brazil is a federation. 

The states (like the Federal Subjects in Russia) are responsible for local police forces and those are completely independent from each other. In the case of the "state" where Brasilia is located, the new governor is Ibanez Rocha, a staunch ally of Bolsonaro, who pretty much invited the protesters in.

- Bolsonaro is sustained by a coalition of rich economic interests, such as large landowners and companies, and a group of fanatical christians from pentecostal churches. 

This economic support allowed for example to hire busses to shuttle protestors in, renting infrastructure such as toilets, generators and electricity to camped protestors, among others. What you are seeing is not some "spontaneous angry people". It has all the elements of the colour revolutions Russia is a victim of.

The Slavyngrad Position Statement on the Brazil Coup

“‘Let's Ukrainize Brazil’ was a common motto of the Bolsonaro supporters.”

One might ask why a channel about the conflict in Ukraine would care so much about the Brazilian elections. For a start, I might explain why I, a Brazilian, care so much about the conflict in Ukraine.



As many other "interesting events,” Bolsonaro's surreal rise to power in Brazil sounded fishy and had evidence of the American hand in it from the beginning.

Such evidence as the unusual turn the protests in 2013 took. 

Informal sources (https://www.jb.com.br/pais/noticias/2017/06/05/haddad-dilma-e-lula-foram-alertados-por-putin-e-erdogan-sobre-protestos-de-2013.html) claim Putin himself alerted the Brazilian authorities that those activities looked like the work of American intelligence agencies.

Once in power, Bolsonaro and their supporters, as heavy anti-communists, took Ukraine as a role model.

Frequently they declared their intention to emulate the Ukrainian anti-communist laws.

An informal, but relevant cooperation started between the two regimes. 

A number of hardcore Brazilian militants (https://brasil.elpais.com/brasil/2020-06-02/explicito-nas-ruas-bolsonarismo-neofascista-se-inspira-em-extremismo-e-anticomunismo-da-ucrania.html) would introduce Right Sector (Neo-Nazi Ukrainian “Pravy Sektor” organization) flags to the protests, and portray them as freedom fighters. 

"Let's Ukranize Brazil" was a common motto. At a point, the Ukrainian ambassador herself spoke in a rally explicitly in favour of Bolsonaro. Bolsonaro's then justice minister called for Brazil to emulate the Ukrainian justice system, with foreign "experts" brought to "fight corruption".

Unsurprisingly, Zelensky himself declared (https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-03-04/macron-bolsonaro-inspire-ukraine-s-surprise-election-leader) Bolsonaro to be his inspiration, alongside Macron. 

Bolsonaro is part of the same push that created the Maidan: the USA trying to sabotage the rise of the BRICS and make those countries subservient to them.

The coup attempt going on right now in Brazil is a severe concern to all those who want a multipolar world and the end of the american supremacy. This will be much harder with an American puppet governing one of the most important countries in the world.

Brazil coup made in the USA ?

After the invasions of public buildings and attacks in Brasilia, Governor Ibaneis Rocha (MDB) ordered the dismissal of the Secretary of Public Security of the Federal District, Anderson Torres. The Attorney General's Office requested Torres' arrest on Sunday. Torres is a former justice minister and was appointed Secretary of Security of the Federal District this week. 

This Sunday, he's on a trip to the U.S. Torres is in Orlando, Florida, the same city that former President Jair Bolsonaro is in. Interlocutors told the column that Torres has family in that country....

Brazil and the fake, well planned chaos. 

Checkpoints are now set up in the capital Brasilia - the Governor of the city was removed from office after the trouble. The confrontation between the army and supporters of the country's ex-president Jair Bolsonaro continued all night apparently. As a result, more than 400 people were detained on suspicion of participating in riots and the new head of the country, Lula da Silva, came to the scene of the perceived trouble. Checkpoints have been set up near the Congress, which the protesters tried to storm, armored personnel carriers continue to arrive at the site and Bolsonaro himself has disowned the protesters. 

Meanwhile, according to local media reports, the court removed the Governor of the capital Brasilia from office. It is not yet known how many people were injured in the riots. However there may be dozens of them. The situation in Brazil by January 9th: A state of emergency has been declared in the capital of Brazil until the end of the month. Various rights of its citizens will be limited in accordance with the law on emergency situations. Furthermore, Brazilian President Lula da Silva announced the intervention of federal troops in the country's capital to suppress the rebellion. 

Argentina and Chile officially invited Brazil to send special police forces to the capital to help the Brazilian police in suppressing the riots. 

The Brazilian authorities promise to bring the perpetrators of the trouble to the most severe responsibility. Venezuelan President Maduro called the coup attempt in Brazil a neo-fascist rebellion. In the capital Brasilia, the riots have already been suppressed, government buildings have been taken under control, and Bolsonaro (from Florida) has condemned on Twitter the protests and the seizure of the National Congress, the residence of the President and the Supreme Court, saying that "he has always been for order and the constitution, and it’s not good to do so". 

All the apparent hall marks of Capitol Hill (6th January), Trumpian style Hegelian Dialect and supressing opposition through a psy-op intended to frame the narrative. Similarly to 6th January in Washington one of the protestors was wearing a Viking style hat/headwear very reminiscent of 6th January and the parallels that can be drawn to the Visigoths sacking of Rome. All the bad actors playing their part in the orchestra. Federal/martial law and an interim state of emergency. An opportunity to consolidate power and assert oneself in the newly usurped or perceived usurped presidency. Another top level game of smoke and mirrors.
