They began with the inventory Doomsday book followed up by the Land clearances in Scotland / Enclosures act in England and the Irish famine.
That provided the dependent pool of labour / cannon fodder with which to expand the ahem British ( Really Bankers ) empire.
Transportation and the press gang (white slavery) was also a major vehicle to enslave the peoples of our islands in furtherence of the bankers empire.
