The recent arrest of an EU Parliament member involving Belgian police, will likely NOT be followed with action against Von der Leyen.
The EU Parliament arrest involved allegations against Qatar, home of non-Western Al Jazeera media, supposedly buying influence in Brussels (unlike, e.g., George Soros ...) As the Brussels EU offices are on Belgian territory, Belgium needed to cooperate with the intel agencies in making that arrest.
By contrast, public ethics charges are filed against Ursula von der Leyen with the EU Ombudsman, charging that, allegedly, Ursula von der Leyen has developed a corrupt relationship with Belgian authorities -
'Von der Leyen allows gross violations of EU law by Belgium, including bribery schemes, and Belgium in turn is expected to not act against any wrongdoing by Von der Leyen and friends, such as in the covid vaccine business.'
Von der Leyen is in a loop with Belgium's Health Minister Frank Vandenbroucke, also a close friend and promoter of Pfizer and vaccines.
Vandenbroucke when younger was a leading figure in the 1990s 'Agusta Dassault' bribery scandal, and hilariously talked about 'burning the bribery cash' so it wasn't spent.
That scandal is also sometimes linked to the 1991 political assassination of André Cools:

Belgium civil servants today, are charged with a criminal scheme of demanding bribes for EU citizen rights to health care access, clearly violating EU law, and Von der Leyen, and her 'EU Commissioner for Justice' - a Belgian, Didier Reynders! haha - are publicly charged with letting this scheme be protected and furthered in EU offices.

The Stanford professor expressed gratitude to Musk for allowing him to investigate what went on, with Musk responding in kind, thanking Bhattacharya for his “adherence to science.”
Ironically, Bhattacharya was immediately subject to calls for more censorship:
The professor was one of the leading voices who encouraged Musk last month to make public records of Twitter’s previous censorship regime.
Musk has promised that details of how Twitter suppressed COVID information is “coming bigtime.”
Infectious diseases expert Bhattacharya has previously warned that “When you take a position that is at odds with the scientific clerisy, your life becomes a living hell.”
Speaking at the recent Academic Freedom Conference at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, Bhattacharya, who previously described lockdowns as the most catastrophically harmful policy in “all of history,” and “the single worst public health mistake in the last 100 years,” noted “we have a high clerisy that declares from on high what is true and what is not true.”
He added that he has come to the conclusion that “academic freedom is dead.”
