The Sex Pistols did a song called, Holidays In The Sun. It opened with, 'I don't want a holiday in the Sun'. I loved that line.
I went on holiday with my girlfriend recently and we had a villa. She spent all day long laying on the beach soaking up the sun and now she looks like a lobster. I was bored stiff as I hate the heat, and it was too hot for me to do anything.
When we came home my girlfriend asked me if I liked her sun tan. I said it reminds me of old people.
Did you see the bazookas on some of those gorgeous women in the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria video? It reminds me of this Booker T and the MG's Green Onions video, very sixties:
Yes, the juxtaposition between that and how poor people in those third world countries live their lives is very depressing. And all that BS about organic farms and being close to nature in a superb environment. For the lucky few.
It's not entirely clear what Exaro News' raison d'ĂȘtre was, anyway. Perhaps Exaro's closure at this particular juncture was planned right from the beginning. Perhaps Exaro had simply accomplished its objective(s).
A more interesting question is: Who benefited from Exaro's work? And who suffered?
In respect of VIP paedophiles, Exaro was either:
(a) CONTROLLED OPPOSITION. i.e. Pursuing *some* journalistic avenues while ignoring or downplaying others more important. In other words, sacrificing some smaller fish in order to protect some bigger ones.
(b) A LEGITIMATE ONLINE NEWSPAPER. i.e. reporting solved & unsolved cases of VIP child sex abuse, showing neither fear nor favour.
(c) A MOUSE TRAP OPERATION. i.e. A vehicle for the intelligence agencies to obtain valuable information about child sex abuse survivors and what they know, the better to shut down survivors' efforts at obtaining justice;
(d) A MEANS TO REVENGE. i.e. Exaro may have been established primarily in order hurt the enemies of Exaro's directors/financial backers. In other words, it was a vehicle for settling old scores.
Personally, I don't believe Exaro was ever a legitimate news operation. It performed a function -- probably a malevolent one -- and its function is now complete. Hence the closure.

Owned and run by THEM. Job done, now no longer needed.
Surplus to requirements. Only need to arrest the victims then it's a wrap.
