Weird. I had no idea of the extent of this phenomena. That said there was further questions asked as to why there was Israeli Art Students on the 91st floor of the World Trade Centre circa September 2001.
This was reasonably well mentioned and fell into the category with the Dancing Israelis. Thought no more of it. This piece shows the extent of their clandestine operations, despite the innocuous nature and strangeness.
It is safe to say that who needs enemies when you've got friends like this.
You always find new ways to pass off rogue agents as 'innocent members of the public'. University Scholars had its day, both coming to Oxford and going Stateside from the UK.Various US banks are/were well known fronts for CIA money laundering. Arts students sounds like another painting on a common theme....
