GAB, Threads, Germany ...

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post 'Threads, Twitter ...':

Mark Zuckerberg's 'Threads' rival to Twitter, is already showing signs of failing

Gab has been accosted by today's EU German reich demanding turnover of personal information of a Gab poster.

Andrew Torba posts that 'We are just going to ignore this and not answer them lol'.

Kudos to Torba ... but the downstream consequence may be that Gab may become blocked from access in Germany and the whole EU just like Russia Today etc are banned now.

Photo of German gov request, with Torba's reply at top, here ...

With the new draconian censorship regime beginning in the EU in late August under the EU's 'Digital Services Act' -

And the economic problems that will hit the EU this winter with energy shortages and then the EU banks and bond market and euro currency -

By early 2024 it will be likely apparent that Brexit was the better decision

And this is despite the UK having issues of its own with intimidation of expression, and socio-economic hardship

It will be easier to focus on fixing things at home in the UK, without also suffering from, and paying for, the mess across the Channel

Twitter suspends Catholic Archbishop Viganò

"Twitter, the social media platform that has boasted free speech protections since coming under the control of Elon Musk, has suspended the account of Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò.

On Saturday afternoon, word began to spread of the incident with followers demanding an explanation from owner Elon Musk and calling for reinstatement of the account.

The account is labeled “suspended” and all posts hidden, an action which Viganò described to LifeSiteNews’ John-Henry Westen as “shameful.”

Although the motivation to cancel Viganò from the platform is unclear at this time, it comes less than two weeks after the archbishop founded an international organization to assist priests and religious under attack for defending the teachings of the Catholic Church.

In recent months, Viganò has also blasted the “blasphemous” acts of honoring the anti-Catholic Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence [a mocking name] at a major league baseball game, and applauded those who gathered in prayerful protest of the LA Dodgers’ “pride night” on the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Additionally, the archbishop criticized the globalist New World Order as similar to the “antichurch of Satan.”"
