 Hartley Shawcross was the lead UK prosecutor at Nuremberg.

The former UK Attorney General Hartley Shawcross -

'During the committal hearing for the suspected serial killer doctor John Bodkin Adams in January 1957, Shawcross was seen dining with the defendant's suspected lover, Sir Roland Gwynne (Mayor of Eastbourne from 1929–31), and Lord Goddard, the Lord Chief Justice, at a hotel in Lewes.[10]

'The meeting added to concerns that the Adams trial was the subject of concerted judicial and political interference.'

William Shawcross  is the son of Hartley Shawcross, the lead UK prosecutor at Nuremberg -

Following the attacks of 9 11, William Shawcross supported the U.S. invasion of Iraq.

He said that Kissinger "is an extraordinary man who deserves respect."

Shawcross justified torture such as waterboarding at Guantánamo Bay.

In 2006, Shawcross warned of “Islamic fascism”.

Great to see you / ye back in action, much missed, it might be worth considering getting your own host to serve your site, they are available for about £40 quid a year. Its a shame to loose all your previous post which are a treasure trove.
