David J. Shulkin, who said that privatizing the VA department will hurt veterans, has been ousted by Trump.

The new boss of Veterans Affairs will be Trump's doctor, Admiral Ronny Jackson.

Trump has sacked Herbert Raymond McMaster, his National Security Advisor .

McMaster is to be replaced by the Neo-Con warhawk John Bolton.

Bolton was part of the Bush-Cheney group that said that Iraq's Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction and that war was the only option.

Bolton called for the United States and/or Israel to bomb Iran's nuclear infrastructure.

Trump dramatically FIRED Rex Tillerson as secretary of state and replaced him with CIA boss Mike Pompeo.

Mike Pompeo

In the 2010 general election, Mike Pompeo received $80,000 in donations from Koch Industries and its employees.[17]

Koch also gave money to Pompeo in 2012, 2014 and 2016.

Pompeo criticized the Obama administration's decision to end the CIA's secret prisons (so-called "black sites"), and the administration's requirement that all interrogators adhere to anti-torture laws.

Jewish torturer Haspel.

Gina Haspel, who is Jewish, becomes first ever women to be Director of the CIA.

Haspel ran a "black site" CIA torture prison in Thailand.

Gary Cohn resigned as Trump's top economic adviser.

Cohn is to be replaced by Larry Kudlow, whose parents  are both Jewish.

Kudlow attended the University of Rochester where he was a member of the left-wing Students for a Democratic Society.

Kudlow attended the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.

He left before completing his master's degree.[5]

John Podesta and Bill Clinton.

Kudlow worked alongside Bill Clinton and John Podesta.

Kudlow began his career as a staff economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

In 1994, Kudlow was fired by Bear Stearns, where he was chief economist and senior managing director, because his $100,000 a month cocaine habit was affecting his work.[18

In October 2015, U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, in an email to supporters, attacked Kudlow as "a champion of big corporations and big money".[12]

In 2002, Kudlow called for the United States to attack Iraq.

Kudlow firmly denied that the United States would enter a recession in 2007.

Kudlow has been married three times:[29]

In the mid-1990s, Kudlow entered a twelve-step program in order to deal with his addiction to cocaine and alcohol.

Trump has named Gina Haspel as the new director of the CIA. Haspel was Pompeo’s deputy and will become the first woman to serve as CIA director.

From 2003 to 2005, Gina Haspel was a senior official overseeing the top-secret CIA torture program RDI (Rendition, Detention, and Interrogation) that included waterboarding, sleep deprivation, and squeezing into coffins of terror suspects. RDI also kidnapped suspects and delivered them to third-party countries to do the dirty work.

In 2002, Haspel was present at a CIA black site in Thailand when Abu Zubaydah and al-Nashiri were tortured. The torture of Zubaydah was especially horrible and included waterboarding 83 times. At one time he appeared to be dead and doctors had to “revive” him. Because of the brutal abuse, Zubaydah lost sight in his left eye.
In 2005, Haspel and her superior Jose Rodriguez decided to destroy the videotapes of the interrogations of Zubaydah and al-Nashiri to prevent Congress from seeing them.

In 2009, President Obama ordered the closure of the black sites, where torture (in violation with the Geneva convention) was common:

The CIA and the spooks have taken over. The US is a military state. It's certainly not a democracy.

Regarding John Bolton above, the new key figure on Trump's national security team -

Bolton's major and powerfully effective project these last few years, has been the right-wing-fuelling 'Gatestone Institute' org website & 'think tank'

Gatestone articles are very prominently & frequently featured on ZeroHedge, one of the world's most popular financial websites, and thus have a huge impact

Gatestone assembles and catalogues a huge amount of material on crimes and problems related to migrants and especially Muslims in Europe, and also covers some of the banning of speech and arrests for 'racism' etc in Europe

What is very funny about Gatestone is what it avoids covering, in direct connection to its major themes

Gatestone does not cover the manipulations of people such as George Soros, who fund schemes of encouraging and sponsoring rougher-edged aggressive military-age young male migrants to move into Europe

And Gatestone does not cover the banning of free speech and press of those who criticise Jews or Jewish agenda items, whilst Gatestone poses as 'free speech advocate' for those who criticise Islam and Muslims

Take a look at this, Aang, some people say the deep state does not exist, but it's worst than we thought.

The ruling class are inbreds, and many of them are paedophiles. They are crooks and parasites.

SCL – a Very British Coup

Liam O Hare on the deep connections between Cambridge Analytica’s parent company Strategic Communication Laboratories (SCL Group) and the Conservative Party and military establishment, ‘Board members include an array of Lords, Tory donors, ex-British army officers and defense contractors. This is scandal that cuts to the heart of the British establishment.’

Well, it's just nice to know that there are different forces at work.

The Saker — A truly historical month for the future of our planet

Hence this month’s historical developments which have placed Russia and the West in a direct collision course. As I said above, the Empire can now either fold or double down. If it decides to fold, war will be averted and meaningful negotiations finally entered into. If it doubles down, something the Neocons always do, then this means war with Russia. This is a stark and very difficult choice (no, not for normal people, but for the psychopaths ruling the West). And there isn’t much Russia could, or should, do at this point. As is the case every time a serious crisis takes place, the apparently united elites running the West will now break-up into separate factions and each one of these factions will pursue and promote its own, narrow, interests. There will be an intense, mostly behind the scenes, struggle between those who will want to double down or even trigger a war against Russia and those who will be horrified by that notion (not necessarily for profound moral reasons, just out of basic self-interest and a healthy instinct for self-preservation).

As to who will prevail, your guess is as good a mine. But the fact that today Trump replaced McMaster with a warmongering psychopath like John Bolton is a clear sign that the Neocons are in charge in the USA and that the Axis of Kindness is about to get a heck of a lot “kinder”.

At the confirmation US Senate hearing of Gina Haspel, on 9 May, where she was supposedly “grilled” over her active participation in the torture program at a CIA “black site” in Thailand.

Senator Kamala Harris dared to ask a critical question: "I’m not asking do you believe they were legal. I’m asking do you believe they were immoral."

To which “bloody Gina” replied: "I believe, as many directors who have sat in this chair before me, that valuable information was obtained from senior al Qaida operatives that allowed us to defend this country and prevent another attack."

At some point former CIA analyst Ray McGovern stood up in the audience, when “Bloody Gina” refused to tell if torturing suspects is immoral, and uttered something like: "you deserve a direct answer."

The response was swift and violent: committee head Senator Richard Burr ordered the Capitol Police to remove the one time chair of the National Intelligence Estimates out of the chamber directly.

Ahead of the nomination hearing, Ray McGovern had written an opinion piece, with the conclusion that torture isn’t only immoral, but doesn’t give correct intelligence.

McGovern explained that torture can “work” like a charm, when interrogators coerce false “intelligence” that can be used, for example, to start a war.
When Secretary Colin Powell to the UN Security Council on 5 February 2003, he claimed there was a “sinister nexus” between Saddam Hussein and al-Qaeda.

What Powell forgot to mention that this “intelligence” came from a source, Abu Yahya al-Libi, who had been coerced to tell this after being waterboarded by Egyptian intelligence.
