“Tánaiste Micheál Martin has said it is ‘very difficult to comprehend’ what he called the ‘barbarity’ of Israel's bombing campaign in Gaza …

“He said his fear was that when the war ended, the loss of life would be much worse due to what might be discovered under the rubble of Gaza.

“Mr Martin said the world had to call a halt to the kinds of warfare that levelled cities, such as in Syria, Ukraine and Gaza …”

  2. If any British MP were to speak the obvious truths that Government Ministers and MPs in Ireland regularly speak — that Israel’s actions are barbaric, genocidal, and contrary to international humanitarian law?

He or she would be accused by the Ziospook media and political establishment of antisemitism; hounded out of office and indeed public life; ‘fact checked’ and cancelled into a state of ruinous economic and social death; investigated by MI5 and the Orwellian ‘counter terrorism’ police; threatened with prosecution and criminal punishment; and potentially actually prosecuted for a ‘hate crime’.
