There is a trend of right-wing USA politicians, who also marry women, 'adopting' teen boys

These include the new Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson; 

And the popular right-wing Congressman Matt Gaetz, who led the fight that forced the previous House Speaker to resign.

Galban's sister moved out but Nestor stayed.

Nestor Galban is now 19. In 2021 Matt Gaetz married Ms Ginger Luckey.



'Nestor Galban is the young college student Congressman Matt Gaetz describes as his son, although Gaetz never formally adopted him.

Galban moved to the United States from Cuba when he was 12 to live with his older sister, who was dating Gaetz at the time ... The two formed a bond and Galban told the magazine Gaetz “raised me as his own son.” Gaetz wrote, “This is my son Nestor. We share no blood but he is my life.'

Mike Johnson (born 1972) was still single when he met Michael T James (born 1983) in Louisiana in the 1990s, whilst doing 'charitable community work'.

Mike Johnson married his wife Kelly in 1999, in a 'covenant marriage', a voluntary type of 'Christian' marriage in the law of some US states which makes divorce more difficult.

The newlyweds filed papers to become 'legal guardians' of Michael T James. The couple also eventually had four biological children.

Adopted son Michael has had a number of brushes with crime and the law, going back 20 years now.

In an extremely odd news story, the US House Speaker and his adopted son, are currently sharing a computer programme which monitors each other's online activity, and signals the other person when pornography might be being viewed, so that each can 'encourage' the other to handle the urges.
