The argument is a very reasonable one, but anyone with any integrity would then say that the USA should be banned for the next 100 years from all global sporting events due to its never ending global terrorism, genocides and warmongering the world over since 1948.
That does tend to inflame sentiment in the self-righteous minds of those who tend to resolve arguments by killing people.....
Russia and Ukraine make rival presentations to Israel - Who is more pro-Jewish?
With NATO tanks such as the Leopard being destroyed more easily than expected in Ukraine, Israel is being asked to ship its main battle tank, the Merkava, to Europe, for transfer to Ukraine.

"Kiev and Moscow, both power centres are bending over backwards to prove that they are the more pro-Israeli."

Ukraine says Israel should provide the tanks, given that Zelensky is Jewish.
Russia notes that Zelensky is not Hasidic, like Putin's Chabad friends dominant in Moscow Jewry, or like the religious Jews increasingly dominant in Israel.
Russia also says there are more prominent Jews in Russian government, than in Ukraine's government.
