* World Monuments Fund Inc. and its UK adjunct, World Monuments Fund Britain, spotlight part of the circle of dame Theresa Sackler, a Brit.

Theresa served on the board of the latter (December 2008-December 2011); while in the US, Jacqueline Sackler was a trustee of the former.

Ronald Lauder was a World Monuments Fund honorary trustee. Said to have been instrumental in privatising the Twin Towers so that Larry Silverstein could obtain a 99-year lease on it six weeks before 9-11. And it was Mr Lauder who, as the US ambassador to Austria, reputedly gave Jeffrey Epstein an Austrian passport bearing a fake name.

On the board alongside Theresa Sackler was James Hervey-Bathurst, husband of Lucy Manners. She’s the cousin of the 11th Duke of Rutland — better known as Ghislaine Maxwell’s close friend and former lover who has long employed, championed, and housed, Harvey Proctor.
