Dominic Beck selected. Rotherham child exploitation

Yesterday, Guido brought co-conspirators the news that Sir Keir’s centralised candidate selection process has resulted in one Dominic Beck being selected for Rother Valley.

In 2015, he was forced to resign as a councillor when an independent report uncovered gross incompetence following the 2014 probe into Rotherham child exploitation. A local resident wrote to their local paper saying his selection is a “betrayal” of victims, and puts Labour “into the sewers”…

Today, Guido can reveal it’s not just voters with concerns – it’s local Labour members as well, on a surprisingly public Facebook group called Rother Valley Labour Party Chat.

Longtime campaigner Ian Roddison, who has been frequently photographed campaigning with the local party on their Twitter account recently posted that he is inviting Beck to his local ward “to face the concerns of some members and how we move forward.”

Referencing The Times front page showing Beck’s face among the disgraced ex-councillors, Roddison warns:

“It hasn’t took long for the people of Rotherham/Rother Valley to talk about the shame of Labour Party Selection ( see this weeks Advertiser letters page). We have to be prepared to meet this head on and have the ammunition to counter it. Make no mistake [Local Tory MP Alex] Staffords team will have the front page of the Times placed all over showing Dominics photo alongside six other cabinet members with the headlines, Rotherham: finally the truth behind the lies………..”

Another local member commented that he too has “asked Dominic about my concerns over the child protection issues”, albeit adding “it was unfortunate that he is being dragged into this debate”

Ian Roddison let the cat out of the bag when adding “I think our plan in the past has been don’t mention CSE [Child Sexual Exploitation], it will go away”…

“A bit like Basil Fawlty in the Germans episode when he said ‘ I mentioned the war once but i think i got away with it’ Make no mistake this will be an issue at the general election as it was in 2021 in the local elections when the tories got around twenty councillors elected.”

‘Don’t mention the child sexual exploitation concerns’. That’s the Tories’ leaflet written for them…

Responding to the New York Times podcast that claimed the Trojan Horse Scandal was based on Islamophobia, Gove accuses them of helping to “undermine the truth”, and labels them:

  1. China discontinued operation of its COVID tracking app on Monday as part of the Middle Kingdom's transition away from a dynamic zero-COVID strategy.

According to an announcement from the state-run Communications Itinerary Card's Weixin – otherwise known as the domestic version of WeChat – the service closed when the clock struck midnight into Tuesday morning.

Chinese residents were required to display the app on their phones before entering venues or moving between provinces as proof that they were free of COVID risk. The app shows a color – green, yellow or red – depending on a user's assessed risk. Green was safe and allowed folks to move freely, yellow meant the user should isolate as they could be a risk, and red indicated a positive COVID test or likely exposure.

If the app showed red or yellow screens, citizens were denied domestic travel or barred from public spaces like shopping malls or commercial buildings.

The app was a constant companion to those in China for almost two years and nine months. It determined the user's risk by tracking phone signals and location information. The data it collected included encrypted mobile phone numbers, travel details over the past two weeks and any domestic city that the user was in for more than four hours.

That status was set, in part, by requiring citizens to scan QR codes located on many premises and venues.

Last weekend, images of those QR codes being removed from public spaces began to appear across Chinese social media.

  2. Shock new poll suggests Labour will win 314-seat Commons majority at general election and Tories will be left with just 69 MPs

If anything like this happens it sets up Britain for a potential political earthquake and cultural revolution.

With Blairites at the helm, expect some vision of hell.

  3. US journalist Leah McGrath Goodman — who writes extensively about Ghislaine Maxwell’s family’s connections to Jersey and the Haut la Garenne catastrophe — is taking an interest in the recent fatal gas explosion on Jersey that followed the seemingly inexplicable inaction of the Jersey fire service when initially called out by frightened residents.

    * Jersey is a place where, given the sheer scale of its links to depravity and murder relative to its tiny population, seeming coincidences are understandably & rightfully difficult to accept at face value absent thorough investigation.

  5. “The building involved was a social housing block … owned by the JERSEY GOVERNMENT-OWNED housing company Andium Homes …

“On 12 December, seven victims of the incident were identified by Jersey Police. All were aged in their sixties and seventies. Two people are still believed to be missing …

“According to Andium Homes … there had been no mains gas supply at the block …”

    * An explosion akin to a gas explosion kills up to 9 senior citizens, yet there is no gas supply, and firemen leave the block hours before the explosion. How very strange.

Wonder what sort of lives those lower-income (?) retired folks living in social housing led, and what some of them may have witnessed in their younger days on Jersey.
