I have a few friends from India, who have families looking after their house's back in India. When pushed to explain how the same family has been taking care of the massive house/Villa etc they will explain that they STILL have endentured servants. Like the gentleman who is talking !!
I can't help feel Prashad's condescension as he lectures about others condescending on his people, Indians, while his people, Indians, condescend to me in my country, America. Prashad knows a mere $500,000 can flip the script on oppressor to oppressed as I enjoy here an American Veteran in western subjected to the leadership of immigrant Indian oppressor. Payback is bitch so I'm told by the likes of Prashad. Yet, who should Prashad condemn for the ongoing oppression of a billion or so indigenous Indians?
