MEATLOAF
...
I met Meat Loaf in the mid 1980s.
I am related to his then manager.
Meat Loaf seemed polite and quite shy.
He was small and over-weight.
...
In 2003 Meat Loaf was diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome.[121]
In July 2011, Meat Loaf fainted on stage while performing in Pittsburgh.[122] He collapsed again while on stage in Edmonton in June 2016.
At the 2019, Meat Loaf fell off an interview stage and broke his collarbone.[126]
Meat Loaf died on the evening of January 20, 2022, at the age of 74; no cause of death has been announced.[137][138]

Thank you. You met him! How wonderful.
From an article:
“I’m happy to give you a hug. I hug people in the middle of COVID,” Meat Loaf said, adding that he refused to live life in fear.
Meat Loaf was reportedly anti-vaccine mandate and anti-mask before his death.
The singer said he did not want to be “controlled”
He added, “If I die, I die, but I’m not going to be controlled.”

Before the internet era, was on a slow ride on a shuttle bus between sites of a Christian university. There was a group of charming female students with a radio, and Meat Loaf's 'Paradise by the Dashboard Light' came on.
The girls all shouted gleefully and sang along with the whole song, they knew every word
For those young ladies, the song captured something perfectly, about boys and girls and courtship in that more innocent era ... a song that yet reaffirmed commitment and loyalty despite it all
Background that in North American culture, most young people get a driving licence at age 16, and can borrow the parents' car, and park and kiss ... 'paradise by the dashboard lights' suggests the sweetest of teen memories for many
Meat Loaf live doing this song live, a masterpiece

I read he had Covid, but he also had major health issues besides his size so not a suprise. I loved loved his music
Lets not delude ourselves, too few from this list are/were truly influential. Not to say that some of them arent Jewish at all. Slash's father was not Jewish, Sammy Davis Jr. was a convert, Donovan again wasnt Jewish, Alice Cooper Jewish and Leon Russell? Not in a million years. Besides its an old trick that some ethnicities/races want to add more famous ppl to their history in order to become more relevant, so no wonder most famous ppl "are" Jewish, black, gypsy etc. Puhleeze!
Came into this world like a bat outta hell.
Stayed.
And left it for something even better.

No, no. I got something so much better now.
Really? What is it?
Well, the first rule is: I'm not supposed to talk about it.
And the second rule is: I'm not supposed to talk about it.
And the third is is...
