As a number of people have commented the media likes to run fear stories about Covid.
The latest is climbers at Everest Base Camp (and higher) are exhibiting coughing attacks.....then went on to say there are over 100 such cases amongst climbers and support staff.
Anyone the least bit familiar with altitude climbing knows that the "coughing symptoms" on Himalayan climbs are EXCEEDINGLY COMMON....it is to do with the altitude.
A "perfect" scare story to blame on Covid. They really are unscrupulous bastards are they not?!.

Both of the border crossings between Israel and Gaza have been closed.
The checkpoint was briefly opened on Friday allowing foreign journalists to enter the Gaza Strip.
Israel has also closed access to Gaza from the sea.
