BORN TO DANCE

Dr. Peter Lovatt: "Humans are born to dance" - RTE

According to Dr. Peter Lovatt: Humans are born to dance.

When we see tiny babies responding to music and wiggling to a beat before they can stand, we are looking at proof that human beings are born to dance.

...

Lovatt's research sprang out of his personal story: dancing changed the course of his life in dramatic ways.

After struggling for years with learning to read and write, Peter left school and became a dancer in musical theatre ...

'When people with Parkinson’s Disease dance, it leads to an improvement in their medical symptoms, which is really rather extraordinary ...'

...

Peter says dancing can improve intimacy in relationships and lead to better problem solving, better disease outcomes and even reduce physical pain: 'When you dance, it can release opioids in the brain and that can do all kinds of amazing things ...'

As well as individual benefits, he says, dancing is good for society as a whole:

...

'There's a brilliant study which found that when people move together in time, that afterwards, even complete strangers they report liking each other more, they trust each other more, they feel more psychologically similar.

'And they show more helpful behaviour towards each other, even little tiny children and adults. So dancing bonds societies together ...' ...

'There's no such thing as you can't dance. Humans are born to dance. It's like saying you can't be a human. You are a human. If you're a human, you can dance.'

    1. thats the whole point .it draws u in and hypnotises ur state of mind ..
entertainment means to keep someone in a particular state of mind ie programmed , hypnotic state

song and dance is how they distract us and use to release hu,an energy that would therwise be aimed at the locust class..
u see that especially in the heavy mass psyop that is bollywood..dumbing down the populace into a song and dance childish , emotionally immature state

  5. Unfortunately there are plenty of people who target those who are not confident dancing, seeing it as yet another way to ostracise people from a group.

It's particularly prevalent when there are no formal dancing lessons in school curricula, because then it is up to children to learn to dance either at home, in private groups or by trial and error.
