Well, looks like Bibi won.
And in other news, the moon has given its opinion of the Israeli space probe and smashed it up. Good effort though and privately funded. Bibi has vowed to send another one within the next two or three years.
Hopefully the moon is more favorably disposed to the next Israeli lander.
Oh, and in yet other space news, the first ever photograph of a black hole has been taken. Pretty much agreeing with Einstein's predictions. But resolution was insufficient to show the USS Cygnus perched precariously alongside.
People have a natural fascination with black holes and especially the event horizon, where the Earth would be crushed to a pebble, and stars eaten alive, where time and space themselves cease. The Nothing. Where laws of physical reality stop.
People are less interested these days in metaphysical reality. What lies beyond the veil of this world. Isn't that right, Bibi?
