"Don't pile up treasures on earth, where moth and rust can spoil them and thieves can break in and steal.

May I comment, and not comment... much. Enough, you let the Word/s speak with a smidgen of accompaniment. Yes, this does me good, so thanks, as ever. Top post.
ReplyDeleteIsraelis are taking the 'crypto Jew' idea and running with it, to expand Jewish power ten-fold
ReplyDeleteDespite less than 20 million 'full' Jews in the world, recent genetic studies show there may be 200 million people globally, with some Jewish heritage ... 3% of the global population ... half of them Latinx, maybe 100 million Latin Americans with an ancestor a Jew expelled from Spain or Portugal
Israeli government advisors are urging Israel to embrace the '200 million part-Jews' idea, alongside the 16-20 million 'core' Jews ... encouraging part-Jews to mentally link up with Jews and Israel, and take pride in their part-Jewishness
New USA political star, pretty socialist Democratic Congresswoman, 29-year-old Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, just announced that her own Puerto Rican heritage included the heritage of Jews expelled from Spain
With the Latinos moving to ascendancy in the USA Democratic party and thus in USA politics ... and many Latinx people apparently a bit Jewish ... an article on Henry Makow asks,
Is a 'Latino-Jewish' USA in the works?
Hi Aangirfan,
ReplyDeleteRemiss of me, I forgot to wish you all a nice Christmas and New Year. Missed the new year, but I'm still in time for Orthodox Christmas at least.
Maybe it's also a good time to remember another anniversary.
The fiftieth anniversary of the concept of 'Earthrise'.
Just before Christmas of 1968, for the first time a human being, Bill Anders, saw our common home differently.
He took a picture of the sunlit Earth rising over the Moon.
And brought home clearly what we, all of us, all of us on this Earth, together have been given.
The idea of 'Earth Day', invented in 1970, was inspired by this very photo.
So here we are as living beings. At the fork in the path. With signposts pointing to heaven and hell. What will we make of this Earth? An Eden or an inferno?
And maybe we should honour the pioneering explorers of the cosmos, some of whom sacrificed even their lives to bring us further.
---
And from the crew of Apollo 8 we close with good night, good luck, a Merry Christmas --- and God bless all of you, all of you on the good Earth.
---
Merry Christmas to you.
DeleteWhy is the moon so lonely?

Thanks, Anon.
You know, that also reminds me of another landmark.
Astronaut Michael Collins failed to find Chang'e.
But the Chinese people have just recently landed a craft on the dark side of the moon.
So I'm optimistic they will find her. And Chang'e will at last be reunited with Yi.
Mortality, immortality, even the walls between myth and "reality", are no barrier to perfect love.

Kuekuatsu.
(That was also the answer to "Why is the moon so lonely?" It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it!)
DeleteWe're not here on a holiday folks!
I totally agree and came to the conclusion those that stole, edited and yes, created the Bible, created the bible from the sacred texts needed slaves.
ReplyDeleteThis is true for both the Brahmanics and ABrahamics!
(They're both pretenders, but the former got the better part of our composite spirituality.)
KALI is our EL SHADDAI, aka Goddess, who was written out of the bible, except in the oldest texts in London.
(SHAD means breast in HeBrew and She is dualistic.)
