HOW TO BE HAPPY

World Haggis Hurling Championship 2018, at Ellisland Farm, Dumfries and Galloway.

1. Be calm and modest.

According to Albert Einstein: "A calm and modest life brings more happiness than the pursuit of success combined with constant restlessness."

Albert Einstein's handwritten theory about happiness sold for $1.56M.

The Taoists suggest that we should be kind, humble and avoid the extremes.

...

2. Find a location with peaceful, kind and happy people.

The happiest countries in the world are said to be the small countries, such as Costa Rica.

"Costa Rica offers the freedom to live a peaceful, happy life, surrounded by peaceful, kind and happy people."

Costa Rica .

3. We need contrast in life.

We need our little adventures.

The picnic tastes better after the long hike up and down the mountain.

...

Seeing trees and flowers can improve our mood.

Being creative - painting, gardening, music - can improve our mood

Have a hot bath.

..

4. Find pleasure in cheering other people up.

Give someone a hug.

...

5. Get plenty of exercise in order to beat stress.

Slow rythmic breathing calms the mind.

....

6. Tell yourself that you are exhilarated and facing a useful challenge, when you encounter  a potentially stressful situation.

...

If your car breaks down, it may mean that your 'guardian angel' wants you to do more walking, or get your car checked before you go on a long journey.

We need challenges.

7. Eat garlic, leeks and other such Prebiotics, which are good for your guts.

...

Happy. What a word. An elusive feeling, one that seems to dim with age those things you considered to be on the mantle of your happiness. This life was all but wrote for me before I even came here. So the best I can do now is write away those things that make me unhappy. It makes ME HAPPY when I can undo some of the awful that has been created around me, like I said, before I was even born. I've been able to do that Aangirfan, partially because of you. So you are part of what makes ME HAPPY. Please don't ever go away Aang, Irfan and Company.

Much love.

To follow that up with an example of happiness. I was elated to see a column at Crazy Days and Nights, the Hollywood gossip site that's 'all the buzz' right now, carried about Billy Grahams death. In three clicks I had enough info on that deatheater to put up on a comment where THOUSANDS can see and judge for themselves what kind of evil creature was created from televangelism and the Christian right.

Thank you for the inspiration to keep fighting...

God bless God speed.
