Members of a paedophile network which preyed on very young children, including a baby, have been found guilty of plotting the abuse. Sex offenders John Denham, 49, and Matthew Stansfield, 34, were convicted of conspiring to rape a child after a trial at Bristol Crown Court. Those involved in the same UK-wide sex ring travelled long distances to carry out attacks together, the court heard. Five other members had earlier admitted a string of related offences. The group used the internet to plan and stream abuse and tried to groom pregnant women in order to find new victims, the trial heard. Three men from Somerset, Manchester and Bedfordshire admitted carrying out the rape and sexual assault of children. Two more men pleaded guilty to arranging the abuse.
