Ukraine now is associated with blood, death, war. The Ukraine is €80 billion in debt, and soon to reach €100 billion. Now that is bad but not for everyone. The bankers, aka the 1%,aka the workshy and bone.idle, love lots of debts because they own all the banks. And they love lots of wars too because governments borrow from their banks and then buy military equipment from the armament companies that they own. The tax payer gets landed with the debt which hardly ever gets paid off. Generations off people will pay interest to the bankers forever more. What people don't realise is that bankers create the money out of thin air, they don't borrow it from anyone. But governments can create their own money, which is what they do in Guernsey and so it has no national debt.
What scared me recently is that if wars are so extremely profitable then the ruling class are going to keep pursuing them as much as they can. Some people describe the 21st century as the century of war.
