"Surely if this 'political reformation', as John Harris described it, happened anywhere else, we would be calling it a velvet revolution and marvelling at democracy in action...

"The (anti-independence for Scotland) rally in Trafalgar Square was said to be essentially British ... addressed by the nonetheless Irish Bob Geldof. Good things were said about the badness of borders ... Perhaps we may look forward to a world government...

"This coy Britishness on display was engineered by Dan Snow, whose father-in-law owns 96,000 acres of land in Scotland. Samantha Cameron’s stepdad owns another great tranche, but it is not done to mention these things."

This is Scotland's velvet revolution and we should listen to the people shouting.

Unemployment figures

Over the last several months, we have only seen two NO campaigners. One is a retired general who lives in a very big house and the other is a very posh lady.

Nothing has exemplified the sheer incompetence and ineptitude of the 3 main Westminster parties more than the simpering rhetoric of Cameron, Clegg and Miliband over Scottish independence in the last week. Were I Scottish and on the fence as to which way to vote I can't think of anything more likely to make me vote 'Yes'. I can only imagine they secretly want Scotland to be independent.
Either way Cameron is toast on this election, he'll face a huge English MP rebellion shortly, a 'Yes' vote and he's gone next week, a close 'No' and that'll be the excuse to get rid of him as he's losing the next election at a canter right now. Devo max, whatever that means in practice will not stand up in the Westminster parliamnent

  3. HAHA.. retired general and very posh lady...

Thats my experience too.. Ive been placing the NO paperwork on the toilet roll holder.. the YES ive been looking at sadly. How embaressing it will be if my nation votes NO to stay with Westminster..

If ONLY Scotland would be free of this corrupt WORLDWIDE system instead of puppets on longer strings -sworn to THE CROWN- and a fraudulent money system.

I'm in Edinburgh and everywhere i drove it was mainly YES but in Colinton two late middle aged women had set up a desk (wallpaper table) and had NO stickers and badges.. and little banners.. no doubt similar were out in Morningside..

.. but no-one near them. I had thought to go talk to them, but what if i woke even one of them up.. of course money is real and valuable.. of course we need to keep the pound even though its no more valuable than richard bransons virgin train tickets.. why don't we buy some of them for scotrail? at face value plus interest? you betcha! .. and of course lizzie hairy goatlegs is THE CROWN and its not a privately owned and run corporation in tax haven THE CITY... of course im full of non-sense...

I couldnt do it to the posh ladies... what about their mortgages .. their money.. god their whole life inside out... jees

nope i couldnt be so cruel to another human being.. posh lady or not.

  4. I hope Scotland will be free. In Brittany (France), we follow closely the referendum: we have de same problem with France.
Perhaps Ireland and Whales will succeed too

  8. I want to see a new intell agency out of this... I want to see MI6/MI5 jump ship! I want to see BP nationalised... Scpotland Govern and BANK itself... I want an ally and base of operations... A CASTLE! On the West Coast... I can launch 'raiding parties' up the Thames! 'c'mon me laddies... raiding party to London at first sun!'... 'cannons at the ready, we're approaching Westminster!'...

    ... errrr...
Shetland may reconsider its place in Scotland after yes vote, says minister

Scotland secretary says if islands were to vote no but national vote was yes, it could become self-governing like Isle of Man
