DeleteOne of the more secretive firms within the corporate investigations world, Hakluyt, was also caught out using exactly the same technique as K2, infiltration. With “shoulder-length hair tumbling over the collar of a leather jacket and clutching a video camera”, a supposed filmmaker was paid by the firm to infiltrate green groups on behalf of oil companies. The Sunday Times revealed that Greenpeace was a key target because they were looking to expand their campaign against BP’s drilling in the North Atlantic and targeting Shell in Nigeria. “The bastard was good, I have to admit” said a Greenpeace spokesperson, after confirming they were forced to shelve their planned action against BP. BP and Shell say they were unaware of the techniques used by Hakluyt.
Hakluyt is known as a retirement home for ex-MI6 officers, but it now also recruits from the worlds of management consultancy and banking. The company was founded by Fitzroy MacLean, a legendary MI6 figure who had witnessed Stalin’s show trials and fought with Tito’s partisans during the Second World War. The board also included MI6’s liaisons with British businesses and oil companies, which helps explain its roster of impressive clients.
Hakluyt’s style appears to be much more in the mould of the Christopher Steele dossier. Clients pay for pages of well-sourced prose from Hakluyt’s contacts across the globe. One such contact was famously Neil Heywood, a British businessman who had started to work as a fixer for China’s increasingly wealthy elite. One of his clients was the wife of Bo Xilai, at the time the hot tip to make it all the way to the Chinese presidency. Instead Heywood was poisoned and Bo Xilai and his wife were both imprisoned.
Hakluyt seems to enjoy playing up to its secretive image. For years the company’s website was simply a business card stating the company’s name while its offices in Mayfair are known by insiders for its comfortable chairs, fireplaces and Gurkha security guards.

"The range of deployments we have completed for core clients is wide. In all cases we guarantee complete confidentiality. And, although we work for divisional directors on tactical issues, we have found our most rewarding work in personal dealings with CEOs who wish - for whatever reason - to have a confidential agency at their own disposal. It was this, which prompted Phil Carroll to write to you about us in April as he has found our work of considerable value to him personally. We look at people and the issues, which often drive them to make the decisions or act as they do. All our work is unattributable... We also have an association with Kissinger/McLarty Associates for although our work is very different the services we both provide can be complementary. Our US client base is increasing well but at the same time we wish to remain small and discreet."[5]

RICHARD HAKLUYT (c. 1553-1616), British geographer, was born of good family in or near London about 1553. The Hakluyts were of Welsh extraction, not Dutch as has been supposed. They appear to have settled in Herefordshire as early as the 13th century. The family seat was Eaton, 2 m. S.E. of Leominster. Hugo Hakelute was returned M.P. for that borough in 1304/5. Richard went to school at Westminster, where he was a queen's scholar; while there his future bent was determined by a visit to his cousin and namesake, Richard Hakluyt of the Middle Temple.

ReplyDeleteI became homeless the day first lockdown started. Neighbours knew what I was packing my car to do. As I left the small town, I was followed by a white Merc 4x4 who began agressively tailgating me. I pulled over to let him past. Instead, he pulled alongside and started shouting at me. I am registered disabled and had never met this guy. He screamed that I was fucking spastic and should get the fuck back for lockdown. So, he knew where I lived as well.
ReplyDeleteI pulled off and carried on driving and he continued to tailgate to the point of near crashes, screaming and making gun gestures at me. For what it was worth, I rang 999 and spoke to them as it was occurring. They told me to go where there was cctv so I drove a mile to nearest BP garage. He continued to chase me around the forecourt in full cctv view which he must've known would be there and was not concerned about. When I tried to get out of my car to enter the shop, he went to get out to so I remained in my vehicle.
After a while, he left. Workers in the shop came out to see if I was OK and tell me they had called the Police. The Police called me back to say they would take no action and warn the fella when they found the car. It transpired that they never sought him out. I made a police complaint on the basis of what has gone before. 2nd complaint with first being upheld. If I'd have in anyway fronted the guy, I'd have been the perpetrator., for sure.
Since being homeless, the worst nimbys (not in my back yard) have been hard right folk. It's been my experience that they are well organised wherever you go.
I read a write up on Targeted Individuals and the theory he put forward to it's rise was that similar happens whenever some force wishes to implant a dictatorship. With the militarisation of the police, discussed here, and all the points of control mentioned in this thread, one is left thinking that this is actually the case.

Over 100 vehicles stopped and fines issued for COVID offences during first 24 hours of Policing Operation
Twelve people have been issued with fixed penalty notices since the new policing power was implemented at 9am on Friday, November 27, 2020.
A further 15 people were warned and instructed to leave Cardiff.
Those travelling in breach of COVID legislation included a couple travelling from Essex who told officers they were headed to the Capital to give family Christmas presents, and a group of nine people who were travelling in convoy to visits friends in university.
A total of 110 vehicles were stopped by police in he first 24 hours of the operation which aims to ensure those visiting Cardiff city centre are doing so within the confines of coronavirus legislation.
Powers to conduct vehicle checks were afforded to police officers by Welsh Government, under regulation 33 of the Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) and they are available to officers working in Cardiff until 5pm on Sunday, November 29.
Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Chief Superintendent Wendy Gunney, said: “I would like to thank the vast majority of people who are enjoying their weekend with caution and within the confines of the existing regulations, but those not adhering to the rules are continuing to put others at increased risk.
“The measures which are in place are in place for a reason. Our checks will continue throughout the weekend, and anybody blatantly flouting the rules, which have been made very clear, face being fined.”

Now an intl. team of top experts asks for RETRACTION. The protocol is fatally flawed: it can NOT DETECT the virus.
The Corman-Drosten PCR protocol is used in an estimated 70% of all PCR test kits world wide. Because it has now been invalidated much of ALL the #SARSCoV2 diagnostic testing, research (including vaccine research) is either invalid or in need of review.
The protocol was published even before any real virus isolate became available. It was based on in silico (theoretical) sequences of the viral genome. To date no validation has been performed by the authorship based on isolated SARS-CoV-2 viruses or full length RNA thereof.
Extremely high concentration of primes (1), making the test non-specific.
Six unspecified wobbly positions (2), introduce an enormous variability in the real world laboratory implementations.
The test cannot discriminate between the whole virus and viral fragments (3).
Incompatible annealing temperatures (4).
A severe error is the omission of a Ct value at which a sample is considered positive and negative (5).
The PCR products have not been validated at the molecular level (6).
The PCR test contains neither a unique positive control to evaluate its specificity for SARS-CoV-2 nor a negative control to exclude the presence of other coronaviruses (7).
The test design in the Corman-Drosten paper is so vague and flawed that one can go in dozens of different directions; nothing is standardized and there is no SOP (standard operating procedure) (8).
The Corman-Drosten paper was not peer-reviewed (9).

The pandemic has been going on for a long time now, and it's taking a toll on our officers. We're starting to see more stress, more friction and frustration; but it's important to look after yourselves and your colleagues.
We're very good at our job, protecting the nuclear industry including the public - our officers are true professionals, that's never been in doubt.
But the rules and regulations around COVID are constantly changing and that affects officers' home lives. People with children trying to sort childcare, schools closing, partners losing jobs; it has a knock-on effect on mental health, and we're starting to see the adverse effects.
It's tiring having to constantly adapt. Police officers are a very resilient bunch by nature, but that resilience is naturally being stretched.
We're starting to see some cracks appearing.
We need to look at officers' coping mechanisms, because the longer the pandemic goes on, the more we are going to see some serious problems develop down the line.
Officers usually take comfort in each other's company and enjoy the social side of their role, but now more people are working from home and there are strict social distancing measures in place. Frontline officers are working with the same colleagues day in, day out, because they don't want to cross-contaminate others with COVID. So they're not interacting with the full range of people that they'd normally see.

Organisations have raised questions about the rate of serious injury in the high-risk group of Moderna trial volunteers, as was disclosed with the latest round of 'Phase 3' trial data.
Three of the 15 human guinea pigs in the high-dose cohort - 250MG - reportedly suffered a "serious adverse event" within 43 days of receiving Moderna's jab.
