The 'kritarchy' - rule by 'judges' and 'legal proceedings', as in the Old Testament tales of 'ancient Israel' - is something intrinsically oligarchic and against the people, even tho in a short term we might be happy that judges or a 'legal proceeding' undermined or removed someone or something we didn't like
