The UK government has pledged to spend £11.6 billion on international climate finance (ICF) in the five-year period to 2025/26. This commitment is part of the global effort to raise $100 billion annually to help developing countries respond to and mitigate the effects of climate change.
ReplyDeleteAs of 2023, the UK's foreign aid spending was £15.4 billion. This represents an increase from previous years but is still below the government's previous target of 0.7% of Gross National Income (GNI).
Add to the £11.4 billion to keep the lazy illegal immigrants in the warm and well fed conditions that they have come to enjoy and that nobody voted for, wanted, asked for or needed.
May as well continue, what about the circa £10 billion for the Public Sector pay rises. Yeah we seem to find money for any number of vanity projects, other people's wars, illegal immigrants, fake and pretend climate change that we are creating through weather warfare and Foreign Aid to whatever bunch of desperados or dictators we seem fit to give.
So at the stroke of a pen we could save easily £50 billion. That's before we scrutinise other areas of public spending where we could easily save a bucket load more.
I was never particularly good with money, however with a pen and piece of paper and a couple of scribblings, it looks as though saving money could be 'childs play'. Seems an entire Treasury full of accountants could be added to the list of how to save money. Me, my pen and piece of A4 could do the job over breakfast. As it's only taken around 10 minutes I'll do it Pro Bono.
Nah, better idea kill of some more pensioners to add to the ones during COVID.
