Gates, Castle, Four Seasons

Bill Gates has bought Castello di San Giorgio, a castle in Portofino, Italy for $60 million.

Gates - who owns Four Seasons - will make the castle a luxury hotel.

Gates bought the Castle through his Four Seasons real-estate company.

Gates purchased the real-estate company from Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal.

In June 2022, Gates bought the Palazzo Marini in Rome through his ownership of Four Seasons to convert into a six-star hotel.

Gates's company announced in January 2022 it had more than 50 new projects under planning or development, including in Italy, Spain, China, Japan, Colombia, Belize and across key markets in the US.

  1. Strange that a man who wants travel limited so much would be investing in hotels as well as Expedia, eh? Surely travel for the plebs will be a busted flush if Billy really is in bed with Bloomberg, Schwab et al??

So we must conclude that 5 and 6 star hotel bookings will rocket 'you will have no travel and you will be happy'?
