Hemorrhagic fever - Dengue

You can get Dengue in Singapore.

'Typically, people infected with dengue virus are asymptomatic (80%) or have only mild symptoms such as an uncomplicated fever.'

'Most people with dengue recover without any ongoing problems. The risk of death among those with severe dengue is 0.8% to 2.5%, and with adequate treatment this is less than 1%.'

  1. The magazine 'The Economist' is rather an establishment bellwether, especially in its chosen cover stories

  2. This is true of most diseases, but I'm sure Bill Gates will be hoping that the 'next pandemic' is Dengue Fever. He can't do without his fix of sadistic lockdowns again, because $100bn wealth is $200bn less than he can possibly survive on.
