Putin Zelensky

Russia and Ukraine make rival presentations to Israel - Who is more pro-Jewish?

With NATO tanks such as the Leopard being destroyed more easily than expected in Ukraine, Israel is being asked to ship its main battle tank, the Merkava, to Europe, for transfer to Ukraine.

Rolo Slavskiy and Igor 'Strelkov' Girkin (Russia's popular, but now sidelined, hero of the 2014 Donbass rebellion), report international dialogue over this:

"Kiev and Moscow, both power centres are bending over backwards to prove that they are the more pro-Israeli."

VIP cars are reportedly plying between the Kremlin and the Moscow Choral Synagogue, the oldest in the city.

Ukraine says Israel should provide the tanks, given that Zelensky is Jewish.

Russia notes that Zelensky is not Hasidic, like Putin's Chabad friends dominant in Moscow Jewry, or like the religious Jews increasingly dominant in Israel.

Russia also says there are more prominent Jews in Russian government, than in Ukraine's government.

"Putin Says His Jewish Friends Think Zelensky ‘Isn’t a Jew’

“I have many Jewish friends,” Putin said, according to Reuters. “They say Zelensky is not a Jew, he is a disgrace to the Jewish people.” The Russian leader has used the excuse of wanting to rid Ukraine’s leadership of Nazism to justify his invasion of Ukraine.

Zelensky, for his part, has said he intends to defeat Russia “just as Nazism was defeated” during the Second World War."

  1. It really is beyond pathetic that Israel, a country of under 20 million people, is seen as a 'key player' in a regional war. Israel is an absolute irrelevance to any global problem as it is a country for < 1% of the global population.
