ReplyDeleteAs most regular visitors to this blog will no doubt be aware, Google has long since ceased to index much -- or even most -- of the content published herein.
ReplyDeleteFor what it's worth, the search engine DuckDuckGo.com does appear to still be indexing this site and its contents.
(Whether there are specific names, events, dates, topics, keywords, etc, that appear on this blog, that DuckDuckGo excludes from its indexing as a form of censorship, I don't know. Perhaps other readers can share their experiences with DuckDuckGo and other search engines going forward).
Even aside from Google's de facto censorship of this blog site's contents, it's well worth using/supporting search engines other than Google and Microsoft's Bing whenever possible.
Google and Microsoft's near-monopoly (duopoly?) on Search -- at least outside of China (Baidu) and Russia (Yandex) -- poses extreme dangers for freedom of expression and democracy.
