PINK FLOYD’S CALL FOR A CEASEFIRE IN UKRAINE DISMISSED AND DERIDED BY THE CONTROLLED MEDIA
Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters has been tacitly condemned and ridiculed by The Guardian newspaper’s world affairs editor, Julian Borger, over Waters’ address to the United Nations begging for peace in Ukraine.
The veteran rocker had made a point of holding both the Russian State and elements of the Western alliance responsible for the ongoing conflict. Addressing the U.N. Security Council, Roger Walters “called for an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine”.
However, the Guardian’s world affairs editor tacitly condemned Mr. Waters for addressing the security council at the invitation of the Russian delegation.
It is not clear how Rogers Waters, or any other citizen-layperson, could address the U.N. Security Council absent an invitation from a member state delegation to do so.
Borger’s report insinuates that the Pink Floyd co-founder had no right to call for an end to the war, since his home in New York State is worth “$62m”.
Further, according to Borger, Roger Waters was “highly complimentary” to the president of Russia because the veteran musician noted that the Russian tends to respect the will of the Russian government and governs “carefully” in that sense.
Borger’s report quotes the Pink Floyd veteran as telling the U.N.:
“‘The invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation was illegal. I condemn it in the strongest possible terms …
“Also, the Russian invasion of Ukraine was not unprovoked, so I also condemn the provocateurs in the strongest possible terms.”
But Borger gives the last word in his report to the Ukrainian ambassador mocking Waters and deriding the veteran rocker as a pawn of the Russian state:
“‘Keep strumming the guitar, Mr Waters … It suits you more than lecturing the security council on how to do its job. No flying pigs here, please.’”
The Guardian newspaper, highly influential within the BBC, Labour Party, the educational establishment, the public sector and the U.K. Civil Service, is viewed in some quarters as “the warmongers’ gazette” and a cornerstone of Britain’s controlled media.

But there is near-universal acclaim throughout the controlled British media for The Greatest Showman!
As MPs and Peers whooped their appreciation, Zelensky could not have looked more kingly had he been draped tip-to-toe in ermine:
HENRY DEEDES watches the Ukrainian president stand as a giant among a sea of pygmies

Dave Gilmour would have been at odds with any sentiments regarding the Ukrainian SMO. His personal opinion would have been influenced by family matters (if nothing else). Dave Gilmours' daughter in law is Ukrainian. This would have clearly made him an expert in the field of geopolitics. It would also account for his polarised views.
ReplyDeleteRoger Waters has went from the greatest of all time to an antisemitic in 48 hours. It does not matter if Ukraine is a failed state, almost as corrupt as the UK or full of hardcore Nazis. The only thing that matters is Saint Zelensky (Soros' nephew) and his band of reprobates, their narrative and world view. Anything else is clearly not acceptable.
Furthermore, when it comes to open warfare, you will have to pick a side. Advocating in anyway for the other side irrespective of rights or wrongs instantly makes you a traitor and, as such, a target.
Espousing counter narrative views during this moment in time could be considered detrimental to ones health.

ReplyDeleteInteresting comments carried by newspapers about the Patisons’ finances, attributed to the deceased couple’s neighbours:
“Emma drove a 4x4”
“His BMW 8 Series was parked on the drive.”
“As well as the BMW, George also drove a Jaguar XR and an Audi S5.”
“They'd also spent a lot of money doing up the house”
“[They’d] extended the kitchen”
“I'd see him through the window drinking glasses of red wine”
“I got the impression he had a lot of time on his hands”
Plus this information:
ReplyDelete“Accounts for the year ending October 31 2021 showed Mr Pattison had taken out a director’s loan for £14,076. And Land Registry documents show a mortgage was taken out on the family home in Caterham in January 2022, eight years after they bought the property for around £600,000.”
Could the Patisons have been experiencing financial problems — a ‘financial crisis’ actual or perceived — due to George Patison’s employment situation, and/or some excessively extravagant outgoings?
If the Patisons bought their former home in Caterham for 2014 for £600,000, when they moved out 9 years later having professionally landscaped and added a kitchen extension, it should have been worth at least £1 million+.
ReplyDeleteDepending on ages and conditions, the couple’s FOUR ‘luxury’ vehicles (BMW 8 series, Jaguar XR, Audi S5 and an unspecified SUV) might have a combined value of £35,000 - £200,000.
They had a seven year old daughter, and reportedly enjoyed skiing.
Emma Patison’s salary as head teacher of elite Epsom College would have been considerable; however, she’d only just started the job. At the less prestigious Croydon High School for Girls where Emma previously worked she would have been lucky to earn six figures, and might have made considerably less?
Thus, if George Patison did indeed, “have a lot of time on his hands” as a neighbour observed — suggesting a worrying lack of business or clients — then the couple’s financial status might well have been dire.
Interesting to note that George Patison was born in Jamaica, according to reports, and had an apparent Asian appearance. The worldwide Chinese Jamaican community numbers about 76,000 and its most famous face is Naomi Campbell. George Patison may or may not have been born a member of that community,

HOW THE BIG LIE OPERATES
ReplyDelete“[Russia] lost out massively financially from the destruction of Nordstream and who benefited? The USA and Norway, the two countries who blew up the pipeline.
“But of course, this war is nothing to do with money or hydrocarbons and is all about freedom and democracy …
“The media line, parroted here relentlessly by the BBC and corporate media, was that the Russians had probably themselves blown up the pipeline on which they had expended such great resources and three decades of intense diplomatic activity, and which was to be the key to Russia’s single most valuable source of income for the next 40 years.
“This was always quite literally incredible. You would have to be deranged to believe it.
“It actually taught me not just that we truly are in the realm of totalitarianism and the Big Lie, but I learnt something very important about how the Big Lie works.
“The secret is not that people genuinely believe an outrageous claim. The secret is that people do genuinely believe that they are in a battle of good against evil, and it is necessary to accept the narrative being promoted, in the interests of fighting evil.
“Don’t question, just follow. If you do question, you are promoting evil.
“I am sure that is how it works …”
