We, Belgian doctors and health professionals, wish to express our serious concern about the evolution of the situation in the recent months surrounding the outbreak of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. We call on politicians to be independently and critically informed in the decision-making process and in the compulsory implementation of corona-measures. We ask for an open debate, where all experts are represented without any form of censorship. After the initial panic surrounding covid-19, the objective facts now show a completely different picture – there is no medical justification for any emergency policy anymore.
The current crisis management has become totally disproportionate and causes more damage than it does any good.
We call for an end to all measures and ask for an immediate restoration of our normal democratic governance and legal structures and of all our civil liberties.
Thousands of such doctors now have signed similar statements in various countries, and the media is generally hiding this

Under heavy pressure from the public and especially from the right-wing Flemish side, who are 60% of Belgium - and also embarrassed that 'covid enforcement' tends to fall most upon street-gregarious ethnic minorities - Belgium's government has suddenly announced relaxing corona measures for 1 October
Belgium's government is under heavy fire from the Bill-Gates-camp 'virus experts' and from EU figures demanding 'stronger measures', because so-called 'confirmed covid infections' - really just 'possible covid exposures' - are 'increasing' as more 'tests' are done everywhere
But after 7 weeks of feeling under a dictatorship, people in Brussels are now being released 1 Oct from the obligation to wear masks on any public street, it will be back to just in shops & crowded public places etc
1 Oct Belgians will also be allowed to visit people in unlimited numbers again, tho 'in excess of 5 contacts should wear a mask and keep 1,5 metres distant'
The Belgian health minister said, well, a rule that is 70% followed, if more limited, is better than a strict rule that is 70% ignored

The 'left' in current form - no longer so much for 'workers' or at least not for local workers who are not migrants or minorities - this left tends to like massive, near-total government control ... so covid or climate change fits that agenda
Covid lockdown fanatics overlap with the climate change fanatics, it is just a new vehicle
The 'right' - including the newer populist, rather socialistic right - tends to want some areas outside of government, and allow for small business and more of 'how things used to be', so tends to make some wiggle room for covid scepticism ... seeing covid mania as something like migrants, an intrusion by external forces

The former scientific advisor at Pfizer, Dr Mike Yeadon, has reissued his challenge to the Health Secretary Matt Hancock regarding the coronavirus testing.
Speaking with Julia Hartley-Brewer, Dr Yeadon said the Government are "using a test with an undeclared false positive rate. That's dreadful.
