How 'real' are these numbers? Lots of people die every year from being sick, being weak in some ways so that a flu or similar kills them tho not others ... So, vaguely-categorised 'flu deaths' in general are maybe gathered into these 'estimates'?
We can become very aware of small numbers of deaths (plane crashes etc) due to media ... yet deaths on huge scales are occurring all the time, not just illnesses, there are street murders in the Americas, auto accidents, even thousands dead from falling in bathtubs or showers every year
Yet the nature of the 'panic' this time - especially the stories of brutality in the quarantine of tens of millions in China - seems quite different, despite somewhat 'low' numbers of deaths relative to the alleged 2009-10 numbers
Or maybe some of us don't remember such panics so well after they are over?
And perhaps the current panic has different goals ... not just selling vaccines etc, but providing a vehicle for precisely timed financial collapse, already unfolding as China's commerce and factory production shuts down ... in a China which economic analysts have thought was doomed to crash soon anyway, along with most all the world
