'TRUMP'S COUP IN BOLIVIA'

Bolivia has the second-largest natural gas reserves in South America.

Trump has apparently toppled President Evo Morales of Bolivia.

Morales.

On 10 November 2019, President Evo Morales resigned, 'pushed out by a coup d’état backed by Washington'.

Part of the police force joined the gangs trying to topple Morales.

The heads of the Armed Forces advised Morales to resign.

Back in October 2019, Morales was reelected for the third time, defeating challengers Carlos Mesa and Chi Hyun Chung, his popular support topping theirs combined.

Morales achieved 'an unprecedented decade of political and social stability and a growth rate between 4% and 6%'.

US Coup Plot to Oust Bolivia’s Evo Morales

Klaus Barbie. In the early 70s General Hugo Banzer siezed power in Bolivia. He turned to the Nazi Klaus Barbie to help him with the repression. In Bolivia Barbie did big business with the drug lords.

Telesur has reported that leaked audios, involving opposition leaders, called for a coup d'etat against Morales - the plot orchestrated and coordinated from the US embassy in La Paz.

The leaked audios mention Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz.

The plotters call for setting government buildings ablaze, violent street protests and other disruptive tactics -  'right out of the CIA's playbook'.

Morales  invited the international community to audit the election results, saying: 'Let them come here. Let them know how much they have earned.'

To see Morales, who has brought so much social progress, forced from office by the military is appalling. I condemn this coup against the Bolivian people and stand with them for democracy, social justice and independence.

  9. Well look at what we did to this country. The Haitians elect a priest who decides to raise the minimum wage from thirty-eight cents to one dollar a day --- it's not a lot, but it's enough to upset the corporations who were here making T-shirts and running shoes. So they called us; we facilitated a change.

Yes, the billionaires of Manhattan, London and Tel Aviv cannot bide those people with the temerity to live on "their" resources.

At best, they will allow them to be slaves shipping off their own "privatized" (translation: stolen) wealth.

But the Wall Street devils and their CIA servants are rapidly learning they are not invincible. Inexorably, bit by bit, day by day, all the world is uniting against the Beast of War.

Just look at China. Mere decades ago a starving and backward nation, long enslaved by little Britain and her opium.

But now an awakened giant and moving the world.

Pathetically all the Yanquis can do is use their predictable "Color Revolution" special sauce, courtesy the talentless plods of RAND. You know, recruit an army of maniacs in Hong Kong to destroy their own home. (88 HK, so sad to see you go, Fragrant Harbour.)

The people of the world, even the now-suffering American people, are utterly sick of these billionaire liars, thieves and murderers.

Western billionaires, what do you want?

    Peace and prosperity for all?

Or to watch your world burning down around you?

    Oh, sorry. One other thing...

Supposedly Bismarck said, "Don't believe anything in politics until it has been officially denied."

This article in Foreign Policy sort of constitutes such an official denial.

Also, there's an excellent article in Global Research on the what the Wall Street thieves are stealing from the Bolivian people.

    That said...

I discovered the new interim president is a nice Christian lady.
No doubt supported by the nice Christians in the United States.
You know, those odd Christians who worship Goldman.

Sorry, I didn't mean to impugn all American Christians there.

There are many good people in the Americas, North and South, who consider love and friendship to be riches far beyond money and gold and silver and lithium.

As for Jeanine Áñez Chávez, who won 1.7% of the vote, God knows how long she'll be in her position.

But for her own sake as a Christian, I very much hope she listened to the Catholic Pope recently --- about helping not just the millionaires and billionaires, but everyone else as well.

And I very much hope she sees herself as privileged, as honored, to be a servant to the ordinary people of Bolivia. Especially to the least privileged.

And I can only hope that she believes, like President Morales, who won 47% of the vote, that a better world is possible.

    2. Hmm... Just looking at recent events in Bolivia.

No, I didn't really expect Jeanine Áñez to do the right thing; very sad for her. One soul for a portion of lithium.

You can read here how she is treating her Bolivian sisters.

When this life is over, she will answer for the blood she has spilled. Same as the murderers of the past.

  11. Bolivian nation will prevail against US-, Israeli-backed coup: Morales

    https://www.globalsecurity.org/military/library/news/2019/11/mil-191130-presstv01.htm

    Saturday, 30 November 2019

"Former Bolivian President Evo Morales has said that the Bolivian nation will continue its fight against an American and Israeli backed "coup" in the country and ultimately prevail.

The coup government, "assisted by Israel and the US, will prepare itself [to stifle resistance], but when a nation rises, no system can stop it, like the Bolivian nation which has risen in quest for truth, unity and freedom," Morales said during an exclusive interview with Iran's Spanish-language television channel HispanTV on Thursday."

"The former president was known internationally for his strong anti-imperialist and pro-Palestine positions during his tenure.

Morales cut relations with Tel Aviv in 2009 shortly after Israel carried out a deadly three-week incursion into Gaza, which led to the death of over 1,200 Palestinians.

On Thursday, however, Bolivian Foreign Minister Karen Longaric said that the country plans to renew ties with Israel."
