In the USA, ten Democrats have taken part in a TV debate.
Elizabeth Warren, a Massachusetts senator who has been surging in opinion polls, asked "Who is this economy really working for? It's doing great for a thinner and thinner slice at the top."
Warren said: "We need to make structural change in our government, in our economy and in our country."
Warren supports replacing private medical insurance with government-run healthcare.
New York Mayor Bill de Blasio backed her on healthcare.
....
Ohio congressman Tim Ryan insisted the US must stay "completely engaged" in the Middle East.
Tulsi Gabbard, an anti-war Hawaii congresswoman, hit back: "Is that what you will tell the parents of those two soldiers who were just killed in Afghanistan?"
Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii is standing as the anti-war candidate, because she’s been to war a lot of times and she’s seen war firsthand and realized that it, in fact, is bad.
New Jersey Senator Cory Booker was the only candidate who did not raise his hand when asked whether he would sign back on to the 2015 Iran nuclear deal as it was originally negotiated under the Obama administration.
Bernie Sanders, a Democratic socialist, is promising a "political revolution", including free healthcare for all and paying off America's $1.6tn (£1.25tn) student debt mountain.

Shia Lebanese Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah, has just spoken forcefully on the readiness of all Iran's friends to help put the entire middle east in flames if the USA attacks Iran
ReplyDeletePromising attacks on all US allies in the region, including Israel and Saudi Arabia ... with Hezbollah's thousands of rockets ready to unleash upon Israel - whom it previously essentially defeated, with a rocket arsenal much weaker than it has today
Nasrallah asks the USA if it is ready to take responsibility for destroying the world economy with the price of oil at 200, 300, or 400 dollars per barrel
(Previous all-time-high oil price was 145-147 per barrel in 2008, helping create the economic collapse then)
Video, 4min38sec: 'Hassan Nasrallah: U.S. War with Iran Would Ignite the Region'
Iran and Hezbollah are not, it seems, bluffing ... this is existential regarding the US sanctions starving Iran's people ... the pressure of mysterious 'shipping attacks' will likely continue, until either the sanctions are eased or there is war ... on Henry Makow - Tanker sttacks might not be false flags
It is being noted that in this run-up to possibly the largest mid-east war in decades, Jews and Israelis are staying rather in the background ... Trump, Bolton and Pompeo form a non-Jewish war trio, tho all serving Israel ... Jewish deniability for when an Iran attack creates global economic catastrophe?
Do you think it plausible that the biggest east coast oil refinery was permanently put out of action by agents of these actors? The massive explosion and fire's timing was possibly just a coincidence but Bolton was thrown under the bus a day later...
