"Essentially, the Duke University study suggested that fracking was occurring at the Puna Geothermal Venture via the injection of pressurized fluids into the wells and surrounding rocks."
Hint: 'high fracture density' doesn't mean what they think it means. They measured the geology to predict areas of (natural - it's a volcano) high fracture density in order to determine the best place to put the geothermal wells. Ask a geologist.
It's good to have an open mind, but not so open that ones brain falls out completely.
It would be very very easy for Ormat to counter the Duke University conjecture (based on sound logic) by simply telling us if they were fracking there........but they refuse to comment, citing proprietary information. My open mind sees this as an indication of guilt. No need to ask a geologist.

ReplyDeleteI have (hopefully) attached a similar clip posted a few years ago called the Matrix of 188. It relates to earthquakes and their apparent predictability (at the very least).
However, the more cynical amongst us would go further and suggest that their is perhaps more to the phenomenon than mere predictability.
Perhaps deliberate/planned.

You might enjoy checking out the youtube channel suspicios0bservers. Part of what Ben Davidson does, the channel creator, is show how activity on the sun (solar flares etc) relate to earthquake and volcanic activity on earth. It's fascinating information. He has even developed an app that accurately predict earthquake activity.
