But, he did not turn up, as 'he was running late'.

13 months later, Weingard was in Singapore with his fiancée, Annika Linden, and Annika's best friend Polly Brooks.

Annika and Polly were in the Sari nightclub in Bali when the Bali bomb exploded.

Weingard created the Inspirasia Foundation, which operates the Annika Linden Centre, to commemorate his fiancée, who lost her life during the Bali Bombings in 2002.
