These 'rankings' are really just a signal of how central these places are to the global military-industrial-financial complex
ReplyDeleteAcademia today is very 'political' ... to get 'published' in 'professional journals' you need to follow the Party Line of the government-funded control groups which control the journals ... The world's central banks control the economics journals etc
Academics 'rate' each other on their ties to the power structure, winning the government grants etc ... companies have the same power-connection impressions
And the list very 'Anglo' in line with the global oligarchy too
So we see
#1 MIT - ultimate military industrial weapons etc university
#2 Stanford - Silicon Valley Google Inc criminals internet media control
#3 Harvard - ultimate school for oligarchy and their servants
#4 Cal Tech - military industrial weapons etc leader
And so on
Methodology shows the self-rigging bias ... rating by fellow academics, by oligarch corporations, degree of 'citations' in professional journals etc

This list is extremely "establishment" thinking. Let's go outside the box. Let's look closely at prep schools. Even elementary schools. THAT is where the real secret lies.I'd love to learn the "best" prep and elementary schools. Somewhere I read that a child must begin their education very early in order to ultimately succeed. (second grade/ 7 years old) After that, it is just too late.
