The top story for South Africa was one dedicated to the ANC - the ruling party.

Users have taken to Twitter to complain about the update.

    I hardly ever get the chance to read your blogs properly these days. Which is sucky to say the least!!

      Your film shows clearly how the Scottish & English legal systems, although supposedly different, use identical methods to suppress challenging evidence and testimony. So no surprises there.

      I was however surprised that you quoted Freemason Robert Burness, AKA Robbie Burns, in the opening sequence.

      He was initiated in the year 1781 in St. David's Lodge, Tarbolton. This Lodge had superseded, owing to want of harmony, the old Lodge of St. James', but the discord had not died out, and feelings rose to such a pitch in the new Lodge, that a division took place, and the old Lodge of St. James' was resuscitated. From the first Burns threw himself heart and soul into Masonry, and seems to have been one of the leaders in the reformed Lodge of St. James' in the year 1782. Two years later he was made Depute Master, and seems to have acted in that capacity in 1785 and 1786, for in the latter year he "passed" and "raised" his brother Gilbert.

      Yeah, i knew he was a mason, But so was Lord Burton! So they canny ALL be bad?! I dno.. But I liked the quote & to be honest i think i'd struggle to find a quote from a Scot the WASN'T a freemason. You neither hear about nor from non masonic Scots much. Which is a damn shame, cause they are a decent bunch.

    I don't normally comment on anything, but when I went into Google News yesterday, I thought it had been hacked. There was no prior notice, so far as I am aware, so Google are not courteous to their readers. Google survives on advertising and advertising relies on numbers, so I'm going elsewhere for my news. If lots of other people do the same, Google will be the loser.

    To be completely honest I am liking it. The Google gives me much better feed articles re my interests which not beaten path.
    I get interesting tech news and updates in markets. I'm loving it. How's Monaco? Tres chaud LA.

    It is just another billionaires' conspiracy for sure. Billionaires use their google billionaires to once again take away information from the masses. I suppose enlightenment was an experiment by billionaires, and now it is time to scale back down
