Eckhart Tolle & corporate-establishment backed 'Buddhism'
Eckhart Tolle has become a giant corporate-backed money machine
Because Tolle's extremist views of focusing on the 'inner journey' and pooh-pooh-ing the external fight against oppression, serve the status quo
Oligarchs indulge Buddhism because it has passivity weaknesses ... Buddha thought weapons & warriors were 'unclean' ... And then, because India became mostly Buddhist in the 1st millenium CE, full of monasteries & without many warriors, the invading Muslims conquered India
And the Muslim conquerors destroyed India's great Nalanda University that had existed for 1,700 years, just like Alexandria's great library had been destroyed (by Muslims or Christians, that is still debated)
The most-hated world religion by oligarchs, is Hinduism ... because it is not only polytheistic, tolerant & open-minded re routes to divinity ...
But because Hinduism idolises the righteous warrior ... the central character of Hinduism's most beloved spiritual work, the Bhagavad Gita, is Arjuna the warrior
The story of the Bhagavad Gita is that God - in the form of Krishna - tells Arjuna to FIGHT for what is right, as a spiritual duty ... and not to worry, because no one can truly be killed, no one can truly die
Good points. He was also promoted heavily by Oprah an establishment tool.
But there is the babies and bathwater idea. So knowing what he is in the big picture does not necessarily preclude one from looking at some of his good ideas.

India's most beloved spiritual story, the Bhagavad Gita, in 10 min. of video drama - God tells a heart-troubled warrior what life is all about
So if Western people are looking East, oligarchs sponsor passivity-inclined Buddhistic ideas ... like Eckhart Tolle
Even Buddhists are critiquing him 'The Failure of Now: How Eckhart Tolle Coddles the Status Quo & Why It Matters'
Good points. He was also promoted heavily by Oprah an establishment tool.
