TRUMP AND RELIGION

...

Laura Turner has written about Trump and the Religious Right

According to Lanna Turner:

On 21 June 2016, Donald Trump met with nearly a thousand evangelical leaders and announced a 25-person 'evangelical advisory board' to help him reach conservative Christian voters.

Almost all the members of that board have histories of being pro-Israel.

Jerry Falwell, Jr., the son of the Moral Majority's founder, is on Trump's board.

Russell Moore - an influential leader in the Southern Baptist Convention - has denounced the board's "heretical prosperity gospel hucksters hailed as spiritual leaders."

Eric Teetsel, 32, one of the most prominent leaders of evangelicalism, refers to Trump as "a serial adulterer… who lauds the work of Planned Parenthood, mocks the disabled, inflames racial tensions and vowed to order American military personnel to commit war crimes."

Some evangelicals have been behind the #NeverTrump movement on social media.

"Trump needs the religious right to win this election."

  1. The most important story that every US military soldier, sailor, marine, and air force person needs to hear ... the story that could end US military involvement in its horrid overseas wars (as Trump, despite all his failings & frauds, suggests he might do)

How the USA brutally abandoned its own military prisoners of war, about 600 individuals, to more than a decade in secret captivity & execution ... with the direct criminal involvement of current US Secretary of State John 'Kohn' Kerry, & war-mongering US Senator & once-Presidential-candidate John McCain

The New York Times Pulitzer-prize winning journalist Sydney Schanberg just died ... but his obituary does not mention his most important story, that the New York Times refused to print or even acknowledge that it was written & published

As the Vietnam war ended - most US troops pulled out in 1973, the fall of Saigon to the native Vietnamese on 30 April 1975 - the 'last US helicopter out' from a rooftop -

A deal had been struck between the Vietnamese and US President Nixon, that the US would pay USD 3.25 billion in 'humanitarian aid' & would get all its Prisoners of War (POWs) back ... tho the typically legalistic & deceptive Yanks put in a clause that the payment was 'subject to approval by the US Congress'

The Vietnamese had faced a similar situation with their French occupiers, & had held some prisoners of war back till agreed payments were received, then released them

The Vietnamese did the same with the US, holding back about 600 prisoners till the USA payment was made ... this was secret to the public tho not to the US government

However, the US regime preferred not to pay, & to abandon its military POWs

The Vietnamese sent secret messages for many years, but the US made clear it would never pay ... this was documented, for example, in Soviet Union archives released after 1991, describing briefings by Vietnamese leaders on this

There was a mountain of evidence the US prisoners were there in Vietnam ... a typical US 'investigation commission' (as with JFK assassination, '9-11' etc), headed by John Kerry & John McCain, covered up all the evidence

Tho there was a popular 'Rambo' movie on the theme of rescuing the prisoners ... which was factual except for the 'rescue' part

It seems that, in the 1990s, the situation had grown sufficiently embarrassing to both the US & Vietnamese governments, that Vietnam put to death all the remaining US prisoners of war that were still alive ... with the full consent & indulgence of the US regime

If every US soldier, sailor, marine and air force person, knew this story, they would likely not wish to fight in US wars

The story is found but only on non-major-media websites ... showing that even a Pulitzer-prize winning major media 'insider' journalist, becomes 'invisible' insofar as he tries to report on something too disturbing to the US regime

Good summary of abandoned / killed US POW story, on Veterans Today by Yanira Farray

Sydney Schanberg's full abandoned / killed US POW story suppressed by the New York Times, published by The American Conservative

Ron Unz of the Unz Review on the abandoned / killed US POW story & the media cover up

  2. On 21 June 2016, Donald Trump met with nearly a thousand evangelical leaders and announced a 25-person 'evangelical advisory board' to help him reach conservative Christian voters.

One of those 'advisors' just happens to be Paula White who seems to be an interesting personality to say the least:

    -From her own Wiki:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paula_White

Paula Michelle White (born Paula Michelle Furr; April 20 (4/20), 1966) is a Christian televangelist. She is the Senior Pastor of New Destiny Christian Center in Apopka, Florida (Orlando metropolitan area), which is a non-denominational, multi-cultural church whose membership ranges in the thousands. She hosts a television show, Paula White Today. She was the co-pastor of Without Walls International Church in Tampa, a church she co-founded with pastor and then-husband Randy White.

    Early life and youth:
She was born Paula Michelle Furr, April 20, 1966, in Tupelo, Mississippi, to Myra Joanelle and Donald Paul Furr III. Her parents owned a toy and craft store.[2] Donald and Myra Furr's marriage began to fail when Paula was five years old. Paula's mother left Tupelo and took her to Memphis; her separation from her husband and his subsequent suicide drove Paula, her brother and mother into poverty.[3] Paula's mother became an alcoholic. While her mother worked, White was looked after by caregivers. White has said that she was sexually and physically abused between the ages of six and thirteen, by different people on different occasions.[4][5][6]

Paula’s mother remarried, to a military man, when Paula was 9 years old. Her family moved to the Washington D.C. area when her stepfather became stationed at the National Naval Medical Center. Paula White is a graduate of Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, Maryland.[7]

-"The Bethesda Naval Hospital is the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), formerly known as the National Naval Medical Center located in the community of Bethesda, Maryland, near the headquarters of the National Institutes of Health.

The original Medical Center was composed of the Naval Hospital, and Naval Medical Research Institute (NMRI). The NMRI was founded in 1942 under Dr. Andrew C. Ivy. He was a Special Consultant to the Secretary of War regarding war crimes of a medical nature at the Nuremberg trials, 1946-1947. [9 During the 1947 Dachau Doctors Tribunal, the chief prosecutor, U.S. General Telford Taylor, relied on the guidance of Dr. Ivy as an advisor and expert medical ethnics witness, a representative of the American Medical Association.

In 1947, Dr. Ivy’s Naval Medical Research Institute (NMRI) brought in ardent Nazi, Luftwaffe Colonel Dr. Theodor Benzinger, of the “Dark Messiah“ to take over the institute at Bethesda Naval Hospital and the MK-Ultra Mind Control Program."

  3. -"White, who calls herself the “former messed up Mississippi girl,” let the audience know that she would be “very vulnerable and very open” that night. White took off her mask and shared about all the scandals dating back to 2004; when a nine-year investigation was launched by the IRS in into the personal and organizational finances of White and her then husband, Randy.

White kept it real and addressed all the tests that God had allowed her to go through such as a divorce, alleged affair with televangelist Benny Hinn, a stroke, an addiction to the prescription medication she was given following her stroke and how her church staff split in the middle; with some turning on the Whites and going to the media. She continued with family problems that started when she found out that her son had a drug addiction and was sexually abused by another male at a staff member’s house. Also, White had to deal with the pain of her daughter,Kristen, battling brain cancer; in which she died at age 30 in 2008."
