I live in the UK and genuinely know only 5 people who are voting to remain. Of the 50 or so people I would regularly talk to each month other than these 5 they are all voting leave. The people I know are completely ordinary from different social and economic backgrounds. Of the 5 voting to remain, 4 of them are very wealthy and 2 of them particularly so. Even official polls as of today the 17th May have 'Leave' slightly ahead. I've heard politicos try and label 'Brexit the Movie' as biased - it isn't, it shows very clear facts that I think the population at large are waking up to. In a world of dark forces trying to control every aspect of our lives from whatever sick dystopian paradise they feel they exist in it shows there is room for hope.
I have to admit that I've only seen a short bit of this film so far, but I have to say that I'm even more confused than before. I was planning to vote out, as are many of the people I know, but when I saw Kelvin McKenzie, Melanie Phillips, Peter Lilley, and the rest, speaking up for Brexit, I really have to wonder. I despise and distrust these people. I also wonder if the Obama intervention was a bit of staged reverse psychology to move us to a get out vote? Just a thought. Also, some of the 'managed' alternative media are for out. Cui bono either way? I really don't know now, but I'll certainly watch and rewatch the film until I do.
It looked like the horror show of the Right trying to tell us to vote to get out.
Did you notice the emphasis on there being too many regulations. Did you notice the emphasis on hey more competition, even more of Thatcherism. Did you notice how they said that China had less regulations and more competition. Did you notice that they said they we should become as competitive as China. Don't you think we are sick of more competition and markets, where the people at the bottom get crushed, yeah, that's me and you. And what about the trade deals, well, it seems the less of them we get the better. The US is designing its Tipp thing at the moment. But we don't want it. I haven't made up my mind yet, but that film was a joke.

ReplyDeletewell, unfortunely we almost have no choice.
Deletethe last referendum was corrupted, u can look at yt, how women who counted votes made mistake.
If "brexit" were real, it would be sing that there is a hope in this europe, to destroyed EU!
PS. they dont care about us, we are cattles for them. this is why they created war, fals flag, to controls us.
Very similar experience, bum. A big majority of friends, family, neighbours, and work colleagues is in favour of leaving.

ReplyDeleteIt is laughable that this movie suggests the UK can be like Switzerland outside the EU.
ReplyDeleteThe UK, England in particular, has staggeringly low attainment in education. Education is not controlled by the EU and look at the mess we make.
Just about any European nation, EU or not has a better educated populous than us. We will stagnate further inside or out until we address this issue.
Yepper.....and all by design.

Well, that would be a problem whether we Remain or Leave!
DeleteI was educated prior to the UK joining what is now the eu - 'better educated populous', ffs.
ReplyDeleteBritain was not blackmailed (Ted Heath) into Europe to be able to slide out so easily. Vote or no vote. The bosses want us in; we shall remain in.
